Hi, I'm José — a Munich-based Product Designer currently working at zooplus.

After 11+ years as a developer across diverse projects, I transitioned into UX/UI design in 2021 to blend my technical roots with a passion for crafting thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences. I bring a structured, detail-driven, and collaborative mindset to my work — and I'm currently exploring how systems thinking, AI, and automation can help scale design impact and streamline workflows.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, biking, hiking, photography, exploring, and martial arts. In 2018-2019, I solo backpacked through Asia for four months — part of a journey that's taken me to 32 countries. Originally from Antequera, I've lived in Málaga, Madrid, Berlin — and now call Munich home.

Since March 2023, I've also taken on my most rewarding role yet: being a dad to Mila, a curious and energetic little human who's brought new layers of empathy and perspective to life.
